Today I was called a faggot by someone passing by, he was making a remark on a article of clothing I was wearing, though I’m sure he had no idea that I am actually gay. It was not the first time I was called a faggot spitefully, so I just brushed it off. But that’s what we all do, we just brush things to the side and hope that it just doesn’t happen again. But when we do that we create a constant loop of intolerance. I am a Man, I am Gay, I am someone’s child and one day will be a parent with a child of my own, but most importantly I am a Human Being. I was born into this world as equal as everybody else. Not one person is better than me and I am not better then any person. Stand up for who you are and what you know is right. Though the world is progressing, it still has a ways to go. I’m not a fool, I know racism, sexism and homophobia will always exist, it’s sad but true. But I will not feel ashamed of who I am. No one should. Your life is your life, be who you are, for you are beautiful.
I posted this right after I came out almost two years ago. I’ve grown so much as a person since I took this photo. I’ve never been happier. Thanks to all those who’ve supported me.
STOP BEING TINY
For the past two days, this little dinosaur has been hitchhiking on my side mirror.
And every time I go back to my car, he’s just chilling on top of the mirror, ready to go.
The dude’s hella confused though. He sees himself in the mirror and tries to attract himself to himself
And sometimes it looks like he fell off …
